About Me

Hi, I'm Naomi! I'm a force free dog trainer based in Manchester.

I hold a Level 3 qualification in Canine Behaviour from the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and Behaviour (IMDTB) and Platinum Level Certification from the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour (ADTB).

My journey into dog training hasn't been the most straightforward. You might be surprised to hear that my background is actually in Social Sciences. I graduated from university with a First Class Master of Arts Degree in 2020. My love of dogs, however, goes back much further than that.

I got my first puppy (a gorgeous Patterdale Terrier) at 6-years-old and have owned several dogs since then, including rescue dogs. Like most dog owners, I understand the challenges of working with dogs with behavioral issues.

I am passionate about using the latest, science-based methods to further my knowledge of Dog Training and Behaviour, and to help you build a positive relationship with your dog.

I am also Canine First Aid Certified (Level 2, VTQ) and fully insured to walk and train dogs.

Approved Dog Aid Trainer (ADUK)

I am proud to be an Approved Trainer at Dog Aid. Dog Aid is a charity which helps people with physical disabilities train their own pet dogs to provide assistance with day-to-day tasks and in some circumstances provide life-saving interventions.
